The Miss El Cajon and Miss El Cajon Teen Scholarship Pageants recognizes that continued education is becoming more necessary and less attainable as the years go by due to lack of means of financial support.The qualification criteria and the terms of disbursement of the Scholarships will be given.
The Scholarships are currently guaranteed to Miss El Cajon and Miss El Cajon Teen but we offer additional smaller scholarships to other participants through additional financial support. This will be determined on an annual basis based on the financial support we receive for the coming year.
The dollar amount of the scholarships will be determined annually by the Miss El Cajon Scholarship Association's Board of Directors.
If the scholarship recipients complete their higher education prior to the disbursement of the Scholarship, the Scholarship will be viewed as a reimbursement for educational expenses. Original receipts must be presented for reimbursement. (Other restrictions apply).
