The Miss El Cajon Scholarship Association's journey toward excellence does not live in the past. In the "here-and-now", the organization continues to push the boundaries of higher education even deeper and wider through it's personal growth programs as it prepares each new generation for real-world demands.

Through the years, the organization has consistently been able to recruit and retain exceptionally high-caliber and caring volunteers. That's because these individuals consider every day a unique opportunity to bolster the organization's reputation as a program that recognizes that each young woman we come in contact with is special and unique . Our goal is not just to share knowledge, but to shed light and help young women open up new frontiers so they can reach their academic and career goals while learning life skills.

Each step along the way, a caring volunteer member will be there to assist and encourage each participant with open arms so they can identify their potentials and their own self worth. The organization is committed to prepare the participants, with the resources available, for a successful life they want and deserve. In doing so, we hope that these young women will someday assume dynamic leadership roles in their professions and in their community.
